Freebie collections from many sources have now been added to the Uberpath.

A few necessary notes before getting to details of the Uberpath Freebie Collections.

First off, thanks to ALL contributors to the various Freebie sites, your work, past and present, is greatly appreciated.
Next, special thanks to Count Dracula for the original Freebies world and to Ananas for his work on that world.
And a very special thanks to Dreamer2 and TunaBlues for their work and caretakership on the current Freebie world and its associated Object Path.
Another thanks goes to Heu for the Alusion-FR.com web site.

Finally, a super thanks to AWI (especially Tom) for supporting the Uberpath project and Freebie world, and for the hosting for both.

Now on to the information and details on Uberpath Freebie Collections.

The main Freebie information signage and teleport point is at "100.25n 2.25e 0.1a 315" in Uberpath world.

Many collections that have been contributed to several Freebie sources are included in the Uberpath Freebie Collections. These come primarily from Freebie world (past and present), Allusion-FR, and Alterlinks.

All contributions have been renamed with the maker/contributor prefix code as listed in the table at the bottom of this page. Prefix codes are 3 characters (with 3 exceptions) using previous prefixs where possible and extending or reducing to 3 characters as needed, or generating a code where none was apparent.

COB files were converted to RWX, and all internal textures were renamed to reflect the prefix naming noted above. Except to eliminate most rendering errors, no other significant changes were made to most RWX files. Note that most truncating errors were left alone as they are often only informational and not critical. If you find any errors other than truncating errors, please contact Karten and let him know. Thanks.

Because of the discussion regarding vertices and polygons in the models and avatars, those with over 7500 vertices or polygons have been noted and warning signs placed above them in the Uberpath world. The files themselves have not been altered, except as already stated above for texture names and rendering errors..
Use these objects sparingly and with caution as they can quickly create very high lag
a Blue sign is over 7,500 verts or polys
a Yellow sign is over 10,000 verts or polys
a Red sign is over 20,000 verts or polys

Some model and texture displays are subject to adjustment and relocation for various reasons, but they are up and online.

Avatar.dat entries for the avatars are pending, and will be included when they are ready.

The Freebies additions are as complete as possible,
however please keep in mind that we (DCFServices and AWI) make no claim regarding the looks and usability of any or all Uberpath Freebie Collections objects or textures.
